Summer is wrapping up and I can't decide if I'm sad or excited. Usually by late August I'm so ready for Autumn and to pull out all of my warm clothes but this Summer has been one of a kind, and so much fun!! You can't end summer without a tea party right!! I feel like spring and summer semi-formal parties are always so feminine, bright and happy, and I think that's why I love them so much!! Below I've picked out all of my tea party necessities.. Dresses, shoes, clutches and hats.

Happy Tuesday! There are 3 reasons I love this simple yet chic look. My Cobalt Crew neck, the crisp white collar peaking through, and the ankle straps on my shoes. Nothing about this outfit is busy or overbearing but it is still appealing to the eye because of the details.
Crew neck knits will be one of my fall staples this season because they are so versatile. They can be worn with jeans and a pair of sneakers for a lazy day, or layered over a collared dress with a fun pair of heels for a night on the town. What is your fall staple? Also, today is the last day to enter into the Teen Vogue back to school giveaway!!

As you may know, when it comes to clothing that black is my favorite color and even though black and white is my favorite combination, black and gold is not too far behind. I love these pants!! They are so on trend right now and are so comfortable, which is obviously the best of both worlds. They feel like sweat pants but can be worn dressed up. My new go to on a lazy day will be these for sure!

Blue Jeans are a necessity for everyone's wardrobe! No matter your size, shape or age I believe that there is no excuse for not having at least one amazing pair of jeans. I love them because they are so versatile. They can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn at any time of the year. I love my jeans to be really fitted and stretchy because when pants have no stretch I always feel so uncomfortable, and let's be honest.. a girl with curves needs a little spandex in her step. What is your favorite pair of jeans and why?

Overalls have been all the rage for a while but I never found a pair that fit me the way I wanted them to until I saw these ones on a friend and fell in love. I have been waiting to get my hands on them but me, being the cheapskate that I am, have been watching the price since March!! I love how loose these are but they aren't too baggy and unflattering!

I know it is only the beginning of August, but I am already so giddy for Fall to come. Don't get me wrong, this Summer has been unbelievable and so relaxing but I'm starting to want some structure back in my life as well as Fall fashion!! The best way to transition into your Fall wardrobe without throwing on jeans, a blazer, and some boots (way to hot) is to pick pieces that are easy to transfer throughout every season. A short sleeve top and skirt scream summer, while the hardware on my shirt along with the structure in my skirt add edge to the outfit which makes this look appropriate for both seasons. Finish the look off with a fierce bag, some striking strappy sandals, and you are on your way!
Happy Sunday everyone. This past week I was in Bear Lake with my family and some of my close friends. I can't believe that July is officially over. Summer is starting to wrap up and this trip was a good way to get ready to say goodbye. Above is a video I made of some of the fun and silly things we did while we were relaxing on the beach. It is so good sometimes to walk away from the world for a couple of days and spend time with the people that matter the most.
Below are some of my Insta snaps that I took during our little get away. Go follow me on Instagram to see the behind the scenes side to my blog and little peeks into my personal life
