On Instagram I've received many questions about where to find modest clothes. Especially dresses & skirts. My whole life I've seen my mom & the other virtuous women in my life struggle to find trendy, stylish clothing that is also modest & tasteful. I've decided that every Monday I will be posting modest clothing that is in season & on trend.
Follow along each week as I share my fashion finds, sales & coupon codes with all you beauties. You can also get some modest outfit inspiration on my Instagram & Pinterest.

This look is perfect for an office Halloween party, or for those who aren't the biggest fans of dressing up.
A cat costume may or may not be the most cliche costume of all time BUT it's so cute & so easy. You can switch it up though & be the cutest kitty at the halloween party. I did some shopping and found so many cute ears & inexpensive casual costumes. Also the perfect make-up products for your killer kitty look.
In the comments tell me how you would put together your kitty costume!
Between recovering from my concussion & opening Lexie Faith Designs again, I have had zero time to create any Halloween content. Luckily, this sassy 6th grader needed big sisters help to get ready for "Egyptian Day" at school. This is such an easy costume to recreate & it's SO DANG CUTE! Everything she is wearing I found in her closet last night & we borrowed the Egyptian bib from a friend.
For you cute teenagers & mamas who are trying to avoid this turquoise tutu, I have found some pretty & inexpensive white dresses that would be perfect for this egyptian costume. Just add sandals, some blue eyeshadow & some serious liquid liner & BOOM. You're ready to walk like an Egyptian!
Time. It’s so crazy. There have been moments of my life that have flown by in the blink of an eye and others that seemed to go on and on with no end in sight. There are so many ways to think about time, define time, and spend time. Over the past year I have learned that I always have time. In high school or junior high I would make excuses that I didn't have any time. I was so wrong. My free time was spent texting friends, over sleeping, surfing the web, scrolling through social media. I spent my time on those things instead of the little triumph that help keep me sane like making my bed in the morning, reading my scriptures, serving my family, exercising, and so on. I've learned over the past year that I can do anything, I just have to make the time. So I started doing just that... making time. Planning out my day has helped me be affective & productive. It also helped me be aware of time.
When I was living in the Caribbean I had a cheap, $10 watch that was full of water & I could barely tell the time, BUT it helped me be aware, on time and productive. Now that cheap little watch is in the garbage & I have this gorgeous wooden watch from JORD.
I've teamed up with JORD to bring you guys an awesome giveaway. JORD is giving away a $100 gift code to one lucky entrant but don't worry. Everyone will be a winner because all other entrants will receive a $25 gift code. CLICK HERE to access the giveaway.
After entering the giveaway, I would love to hear in the comments how you manage your time. Thanks for reading & good luck!
If you remember this post or you follow me on social media, you know that I've been living in the Caribbean for the past 6 months serving an LDS mission. My time was unfortunately cut short due to a head injury.
Every Friday night on the island of Sint Maarten the missionaries would have a "fun night" finding activity at the church. In July I got hit really hard in the head with a soccer ball (I know, lame story) and ever since then I've had constant headaches.
I sincerely love the people living in the Caribbean. They taught me so much about humility, hard work, the importance of family, and love. They are SUCH a loving and friendly people. I spent the majority of my mission on the island of Sint Maarten. At the beginning of this month I, along with all of the other the missionaries were evacuated from the island as Hurricane Irma got bigger & more dangerous. Seeing pictures of those sacred streets, the streets where I walked & taught, now demolished, tore my heart apart. My lush green island was in ruins. The people I loved lost everything. I lost important belongings and my companion lost everything. I have yet to hear from close friends but so many people are safe and that is what's important.
I had been trying to work and push through with painful headaches for two months and I believe I was able to keep going because I felt the spirit constantly. The joy and love I felt from serving dulled the physical pain. After Hurricane Irma I was emotionally wounded and just wanted to be back in Sint Maarten helping those people.
I was transfered to an amazing area in Barbados. I was still feeling sad but I was so optimistic and full of faith for the future. Unfortunately because my headaches were not going away, my Mission President decided it was time to get medical help in America since they didn't have the same medical resources on those islands.
I am so grateful for this experience I've been given. Every part, good and hard, has made me spiritually stronger, self aware, compassionate and charitable. I will treasure my mission experience forever. I thank Heavenly Father for helping me grow and stretch myself. I know Jesus Christ has been with me every step of the way and will continue to be by my side. He makes up the difference.
Thank you for being apart of my journey. I can't wait to continue being bigger and better than ever before.

I feel like I've tried everything to whiten my teeth. I was approached by Smile Brilliant to try their whitening trays. They are amazing. You make the molds for the trays by yourself at home. It's so easy & there are even extra supplies incase you mess up. I shipped the mold back to Smile Brilliant and in less than two weeks I had my bleach trays in the mail. The trays are so comfortable & soft unlike hard plastic trays I've used before.
Smile Brilliant gives you two different gels to put in the trays. First is a desensitizing gel & the other is the whitening gel. I've been using the product for a few months and have loved the results. I've noticed a whiter smile! Go check out Smile Brilliant if you are looking to get a perfect, pearly white smile.
This year I have been embracing every part of this freezing Utah winter since it's the last one I'm going to have for a while. I've been living in turtle necks, fuzzy coats, and warm winter boots. This winter has been so enjoyable and I know it's because my attitude and outlook has been different. Haha so yes, moral of the story is go buy yourself a new winter wardrobe to help you make it until April. Even if it's only a few sweaters, or heck, go crazy buying new gear at a thrift store. I promise, you'll thank me later.
Has there ever been a time in your life when you've changed your outlook and the situation instantly got better? Tell me in the comments!

Earlier this month I was able to collaborate with the brands She Traveled, and Kelly Annie Jewelry. I got to style some of their pieces for this shoot and it was so much fun! Styling shoots always makes me giddy haha.
When I was trying to figure out what to style with this neutral dress, I knew I wanted to not add a lot of layers. To make this one piece look more like an outfit, I added lots of bright jewelry, or staked up neutral necklaces and bracelets to make a subtle statement. How do you like to style neutral pieces? Tell me in the comments below!
2016 was one of the best years of my life. These are some things that I'm planning to continue in 2017 to hopefully make it an equally AMAZING year.

2017 is here and I am beyond excited. You can check out my recent Instagram post HERE to read a little about what events took place in 2016 to make the year AMAZING! Make sure you follow along on Instagram to see my personal posts and updates throughout 2017 on Instagram @lexiefaithdopp!!
I usually have a big list of resolutions for the New Year but this year is different. I just have one and it is to LEARN!! I am currently in the best place I've ever been in my life. The happiest, the healthiest (physically, spiritually and mentally), and the most creative. In 2016 I learned to love myself FULLY and can I tell you, it is the best feeling. I recongnize my talents, what makes me beautiful as well as my many many flaws and I've learned to love all of it.
So for 2017 I don't have a list of resoultions, more just a word, "LEARN". I want to learn new things, new techniques, new traits about new people. And hopefully along the way I will morphe into a better person. Because at the end of the day isn't that all what we're trying to achieve? Just becoming a better version of the person we are?
Happy New Year Everyone!
Happy New Years Eve!! This holiday has always turned out so anticlimactic for me. I have big expectations and then it just turns out to be a normal night BUT I always have fun putting together the perfect NYE look. My go to is ALWAYS gold. Sometimes it's a solid gold party dress like this or it can be as simple as gold accents on my nails. LET YOUR METALLICS SHINE TONIGHT!! Get all dressed up, even if you have no where to go. I had such a great year and I can't wait to celebrate it tonight as well as ring in 2017. Comment and tell me what your NYE plans are!
Velvet is back people! And I'm so obsessed. Especially for the holidays!! This dress has been sitting in the back of my mom's closet since before I was born. That's right 1997 baby!! I added some layered necklaces and BOOM, it's ready to wear. The moral of the story is be a clothes hoarder. Fashion recycles itself and it will always come back in style eventually, whether we want it to or not.

Sometimes I feel like I don't have a specific style. I love feminine pieces, bright colors, dark colors, modern, retro, grunge... seriously I love it all! But that's what makes shopping and getting dressed in the morning so fun for me. There's always something new to try or style.
I also never get rid of clothes! I've had this sweater since 8th grade and it's still going strong! I love the bright contrast against the dark trees and the white snow. What is your style? Or are you a thrifty, quirky girl like me who just loves to try it all? Comment below!!

Embroidered dresses!! They are so cute and I love how you can find them so many places! New, thrifted, online, instores... there are so many styles and brands that are making them. This one is from Cactus and Pine. They have SO MANY cute clothes! I want to buy the whole site!! Use the code 'LEXIE' to get 15% off your order through the weekend!
Over the past year I have been making lifestyle changes to try and be more healthy. At times I have struggled with body image and loving myself but I have learned that everyone's bodies are different and that I need to love and care for the one God gave me. I love setting fitness goals and meeting them. I have found that setting a lot of small goals is better than setting one big goal. It has built my confidence as I meet each goal.
With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, I have put my favorite fitness products below. These are products I use almost everyday and that I genuinely love. I am no expert or health professional but these are the products that work best for me! Leave your favorite fitness products in the comments below so I can try them out!
I am so in love with this look for fall... which is a shame since there is now so much snow out my window. Anyway... This fall I loved layering this button up dress over my tight dresses or wearing it as vest with some loose dresses. I love this new layering style and will be continuing to wear it throughout the winter. You can never have too many layers!
Today I'm sharing just a few of the most personal gifts I have ever received or given. When the holidays roll around the saying "It's the thought that counts" always comes to mind, and IT'S SO TRUE!! That's why I love personal gifts. It shows that you put so much thought and love into a gift. If you need some ideas, KEEP READING! And in the comments below, tell me your favorite gift that you've ever given or recieved.
Personal Retro Silde Viewer
I know that you're all having flash backs to your childhood dinosaur retro viewer cause I sure am! This gift is one that I received recently and I was so blown away!! I could not believe the creativity and love that went into this gift. This specific one is from Image3D. Does your heart just flutter over this, because mine sure does!!
Jewelry has always been a go to gift. Whether it's an expensive, luxurious necklace or a pair of trendy earrings from Target, jewelry is such a great gift if it has a story to go with it. It can be simple like "I saw this and thought of you because of that time when we..." or it can be a symbol of a big milestone, or life event. Below are some of my favorite pieces of jewelry I have received or given as gifts.
If you follow me on Instagram (@lexiefaithdopp) you may know that this coming March I will be leaving fro 18 months to serve an LDS mission in Barbados. I received this BEAUTIFUL wrap bracelet in the mail from a family friend who makes the most amazing jewlery (Click this link to check her out.) I was so touched that she not only took her time to make this for me to say congratulations about my call but that it was so personal and the coin charm on it is from the place I will be serving.
RINGS RINGS they are magical things! Going from left to right on my hand...
Last year for Christmas this is the gift I gave my cute mama! My mom sometimes can't wear rings because her fingers swell from arthritis. I wanted to get her a mother's ring but came up with this idea instead! I got initial bangles from Alex and Ani, one for each child (Collin, Alexis, Isabella and Jackson) and then handed them over to my mom's talented friend Brianna, who makes beautiful jewlery. She added the birthstones of each of my siblings. I loved how it turned out!
Personal Photo Snowglobe
I have always collected snow globes and I loved adding this one to my collection. Plus, it's just a super cute and unique way to give a photo as a gift! Here is the link to go snag a snowglobe for ALL YOUR FRIENDS!!
Custom artwork is such a thoughtful and personal gift! Go through local artists or search out people online to create a gift that will mean the world to whoever you are giving it to. Below are some of the orders I have received that were given as a gift! CLICK HERE to place an order! Also follow along with @lexiefaithdesigns on Instagram!
