I got together with my mom's family a couple Sundays ago for a little family reunion at some random park in a small town. My beautiful cousin Mikelle took these amazing pics. She has such a good eye! We always do little shoots together and I am completely obsessed with her and her style.
I think that it is so cool that no matter where you go you can find new places to explore, capture and make memories. Even small town parks when it is 90 degrees. Always keep your artistic eye out for adventure!

Today was my second day back to school. I wore this casual outfit and at the last minute swapped out my neutral shoes for these orange shoes and added this orange statement necklace. I was complemented so much on this necklace and it reminded me how pieces like this can polish off a look. I love funky pieces like this and I have put some of my favorite below that you can shop through. See if any of them will complement your next outfit!

It's crazy how time flies. Today was my first day of senior year. I can't believe that this is my last year of grade school. I am so excited to live up this year and to see what opportunities come my way.
I have always loved back to school because it means new clothes, duh!! My biggest tip for back to school is to be yourself and wear what expresses your personality the best. Another tip that I have always sworn by is to make your new school clothes stretch. Mix them with the clothes you already have and just wear one new piece a day. This helps you keep your outfits fun and new for a longer amount of the school year and also prevents you from getting sick and tired of your clothes, cause we all know that happens!!

I am in love with making these video diaries. There is just something about being able to watch and rewatch footage of your memories that is just so special. Enjoy!!
Here is another very over due post about my weekend in Idaho. The carnival was fun. It's times like these where I'm thankful for cute friends who attract teenage carnival workers that let us jump on a few rides for free.
Since I got home from our weekend at Bear Lake I have had a constant chill which is so weird because I am ALWAYS dying of heat. Obviously the best way to fix this problem is to layer up but sometimes that can be hard in the summer. You never know when the weather will flip to be freezing or scorching hot. I have found that my go to summer layer has been a button up shirt. They are so laid back and cute but are also totally practical. When I get a chill I throw it on and if I start to break a sweat from the summer heat I tie it around my waist. What a blessing that 90’s grunge has made a comeback!!
