FALL!! Ah it's my favorite time of year. The temperature is perfect. The things around me smell good; the falling leaves, the crisp air. Things get cozier and colors get darker. I love bright colors from time to time but dark colors just make me happy. Olive is my new color obsession. If you care or can relate, here's a list of my favorites for fall!
New York Fashion Week has always been a dream of mine and one day I will get there. For now I am roaming Utah State University with the campus sidewalks as my runway. This is a little monochromatic look I threw together. It is so simple yet sophisticated. All of the pieces compliment each other so well! Happy Monday everyone!!!
My style is such a mix of feminine and edgy that this look is just perfect for those bipolar Utah weather days. Sometimes I'll leave for class in the morning and it is so cold. Two hours later it's like 80 degrees and I'm dying of heat. This transitional outfit is perfect for those days. LAYERS ARE KEY, always! What is your favorite fall outfit? Tell me in the comments!
Also, my shop is updated so go check it out to see my Lexie Faith Design products!
In honor of NYFW starting I am (finally) sharing my pictures from my day in New York this past June. Follow along this coming week as I share my NYFW inspired outfits that I will be sharing. Have a wonderful Thursday!!
Let me introduce you to my COLLEGE DORM ROOM!! I have been waiting for this day for years. It was kind of ridiculous how exited I was. I felt like a giddy middle school girl, planning how she was going to decorate her locker. It was so fun planning out what I was going to do and being able to exercise my interior design skills in my VERY OWN SPACE. My poor mother has been so patient with me as I experiment in her home and I'm sure she was excited to get me out of her house to decorate my own space (just kidding, we miss each other.)
Below are some pictures of my space filled with little pieces of home, thrift shop finds and my many DIYs that will be coming soon to my YouTube channel (GO AND SUBSCRIBE, you don't want to miss any fun videos!!)
Isn't that map so cute!!! I am most proud of this DIY but let me tell you. IT WAS SUCH A PAIN. It is no where close to perfect but I love it because of its flaws! (I glued the bottom of Texas on backwards and Maine is missing from the top cause I got too lazy at the end. *laughing emoji*)
This is the DIY I am most proud of. I love how it turned out. Subscribe to my YouTube channel if you want to see how it was made!!
